I’m sitting the whole day at Oh lala cafe Sarinah. It’s my last
day off from work since yesterday and three days before. my boss seems doesn’t
like the idea of me working all the time, even though i was so damn confuse what shall i
do in my holidays.
So i grabbed my laptop and visit a WiFi enabled cafe in Jakarta. Yesterday i sat in Cup ‘n Cino the
whole evening until my friend asked me to accompany her to Plaza Senayan to see
Zara’s 70% off.
I love working actually; some people say I’m over worked that’s
why I don’t have any bf. Maybe they’re right, but small portion of course as i
always defend myself as a Libra 
so, here i am checking my zillions of emails in my web-inbox from clients, co-workers,
inquiries, tasks and other problems. And also doing the goal setting for my
executives as what my boss’ request; not to mention that other account managers
already doing it. Hey, this Glenn Fredly – Tega is not bad at all…in fact, I
played this song over and over again.
It’s quite hot actually, even though it’s raining hours ago. Me
just wearing black t-shirt (as always) and ordinary jeans. i ordered plain OJ
and ice cream to make my mouth busy. Too sweet i thought, just the way i like
it… hehe. I sat on the corner, the red sofa on the outside. At least my butt won’t get
hurt sitting for the next few hours, as I talked to myself. It was quite crowded; thank God i got
myself a chair. Many people with their friends, affairs, sex costumers (yea, its
sooo obvious) and some just business partners.
i enjoy watching their faces, how they gesture to each others,
the way they dress up in the name of social-be-known. What’s on their heads are
those little tiny sprinkles in my daily bread, no one knows what’s on their little noggin’ eh? i think to myself, is this the
day that "the one" stopping at my little window-pane? Cute looks,
smart outfit, heavenly bodies and branded bags going in and out this cafe door.
Simple look people also having their luck, with ordinary t-shirt, some with odd
sentences, with white sneakers they just making the scenes, my scenes.
Maybe I’m selfish, having this 4 seated all by myself. or
they’re just being stupid and never ask whether they wanna join or just
pull my other chair’s out. Whatever i said. It’s getting dark and my wooden watch showing 10.30pm, Mmph.. just
waiting until pre-paid CBN WiFi credit expires. Some smiles and nod at me, I
have no idea what’s that supposed to mean. Humans are just puzzled me, always.
But as i take myself "out of the shell" i realize
that life’s doesn’t care whether you’re down and in pain, it still spinning and
give a hell-to-you-man look. So, why should we care about the world? Being ourselves is the most
precious thing we have right now. Why should we cover hey-this-is-me inside and play ordinary human
out there? Even God couldn’t change us into something we don’t want to be or
do. He can only show us the door and it is us who must walk through it.
be sad, be hurtful, be happy, be narcissus, be materialistic, be
cold and cynical, be helpful, being the joke of everyone, be angry all the
time, be wise, be cheerful, be sexually attractive, be a bitch, be a holy man
more than the Pope, be naive, be childish, be workaholic, be alcoholic, be
freakin’ rich, be poor, be a thief, be a serial killer, be a single killer, be
psychotic, be political, be smart, being dumb, being odd, or just geek or

that’s just showing ur selfishness. if u feel like that life don’t care about u, i think that because of ur selfishness, because u don’t care about it too. may b if u wanna try to take a little care about some a little thing, i thought that u’ll find what the meaning of something around u. if u’re down and in pain, don’t u think that that’s the time for u to find what the meaning of life is. if u give up, u’ll get nothing except regret n u’ll be getting down n down u’ll be in more n more pain. but if u can get out, u’ll find the meaning of the life n u’ll really apreciate it.

One more. God could change everything he want but he wouldn’t. Take a moment and think of waht you really want to do in life.. Life may take hardships and happiness, what;s important is that we feed our souls with right Words from God. Life is worth fighting for. There will come a time that we become physically weak, to focus not on material thing but in spiritual aspects and reflect on what we have achieve so far in the past and what makes us worth dying for. Yes, it’s a common cliche so say live life to the fullest but also live life to the best we can. Forget those things that had hurt us in the past and let’s move on act on new changes.

But as for me i don’t wanna live just to be over consumed by work, i work to live. i stopped looking at people for a moment and instead, i looked at my self at the mirror. Learn more about yourself… inside of you. You’ll find out that theres more about you that you haven’t seen before. then reach out to others and share what you have found.

Isn’t happiness most people’s cherished goals? Isn’t self-esteem the mantra of the past few generations? We’ve seen self-esteem on display in many sorts of guises and we get all these ‘me-ers’ saying it’s the best thing in the world. and they’re so goddamn happy about it.
Do we need to care what other people think? Do we need to care enough to pitch in and help save this world from ourselves? Everybody has an opinion, I’m sure. Truth is, it’s not any one man’s job.
We’re all in this together and it’s not a choice. Those who prefer to look the other way lie to themselves. And it’s sad to think there are people who just live their lives so selfishly. And i don’t mean just giving lip service to a cause, either. that’s not helping. that’s PR.
So, as a libran, i see things hanging in a balance. Get a life so the rest would be nurtured along with you. Just making something out of oneself can have that ripple effect that can potentially save lives from getting all wasted.

True…I also often feel ‘alone’ whenever I see people walking passing us by, or when friends keep talking only & only about this new 3G handphone, or that new Mall, or this new Promotion etc etc. it’s as if “noone cares about the REAL you”. How many times already I often feel like this…..these days, everybody seems to be so ‘individualistic’ (of course, I realize that NOT ALL people are like this! i’m just saying: generally, mostly nowadays) , that “your business/problem is your problem. my problem is my problem. you are you, I am me” ….people (or friends) don’t want to get to know the REAL INSIDE you, or even accept you for who you are.
Too often nowadays in this fast-competitive era, you have to wear a ‘Mask’ for society to regard you as “Valuable friend” or such.
it’s ridiculous….but unfortunately, it’s so inevitable. Especially worsened by the advertisements & TV media bombardments nowadays!
How often I wish this world can be a “warm” place with “warm” people that do WANT to care about the REAL me(not the ‘fake’ version of me). But sigh….what to do…Reality speaks differently.
