Remote Power Insanity

All of our life is controlled by
a powerful little tool called the remote control. I used that to t
urn on my
air-con, stereo hi-fi, DVD player, TV set, some used it for PC, garage door,
electric gates, whirl pool, and God-knows-what-else. It’s easy, simple and
yet-powerful. I wonder if God h
ave one for us, humans, when He want to see
what’s happening in Cambodia, He just ‘click’ here or when He want to see
people in busy New York street, ‘click’ there.

Funny isn’t it? Small equipment
made by man can control so many things greater than its size. For some reason
it was built to make our life much easier (for some reason Ozzy
Osbourne still
can’t use it) but so many people are becoming lazier and
couch-potatoes-champions. I must admit, I believe that remote control is the
most useful man ever made after we create fire. I mean, just think of it when
you lived in one burning city like Jakarta and you walk insi
de your room after
a sunny day and you cannot turn on the AC coz the remote is gone missing.
Disaster!!

I kept on thinking about this
remote power life has given to us, we have the power over gravity, we co
uld
sent man to the sky for goodness sake, we have the power to almost all energy
source in this green earth! But why do waste it? Look at ourselves, we are
becoming cows in our own living room, zombies to TV serials with one simple
‘click’ we continue to another hour of waste
d useful time. Let just be honest
guys, how many of you go up from your bed in the midnight just to change the
channel on your TV set? See?

 Remotecontrolhell

It kinda silly when I think some
people need to be managed for their anger (until I see my bf, it re
ally change
my perception :p) and some needs to be taught how to controlled their drinking
habits, or even self-confidence coz some ain’t got none. Well, not all things
have a tiny dev
ice that we can ‘click’ and then the anger temperament digits go
down instantly (hahaha.. I wish).

It’s not just “a remote control”
anymore when we think deeper, aren’t we? It’s the power invested
to us that
makes us feel great and well, in control. Parents have the power over their
youngsters, lovers have the power over their relationship, lust has the power
over flesh, teachers have the power over their students and so on. Power aren’t
for toys, sometimes it’s like fir
e burning to your soul and when you feel too
good, it kept on burning hotter like eternal inferno.

Be wise over what you still can
control, because the power is not forever. Sometimes it’s good to do
things
manually, like me; I feel weird driving car with automatic transmission. Remote
control is good sometimes, but there are things we don’t have control of.
Destiny for instan
ce, what we can do is believe to it, work your ass on it and
see good things coming at you.
